A few months ago the friends and family started noticing odd things about how Cripten was acting. Things that could be seen as slightly odd to other people. He began to act oddly towards his parents and often would begin mumbling into his watch. When his family really started to worry was when he told his best friend that he could not wait till his powers fully matured and he could fly. His best friend went to Cripten's parents and they decided he needed help but they only made the move to get him help after he attempted to fly off the roof of his house ending in him breaking his arm. A few days later they dropped him off at the nearest mental hospital.
